Spring Round-up Weekend

When

April 10, 2026 - April 12, 2026
12:00 am

Planning on attending the Spring Roundup? Stay with us and experience the best homebase for fun and good times. We’ll have themed crafts and activities for all ages!

On April 10 and 11, the wild ponies of Assateague Island will be corralled for vetting and other checkups. Do not miss the opportunity to see the famous Riptide and all the bands corralled between the Northern and Southern corrals.
The Southern Herd Roundup and vet checks will begin at 4:30 pm at the Southern Corral. There will be plenty of parking nearby, so get there early to see Riptide, Legacy, or Norm come in with their bands and hopefully some foals.
The Northern Herd Roundup will start around 7 am and requires a hike of about 3 miles to the Northern corral. Typically, it takes a few hours to complete.

As a reminder, printed copies of our activities schedule can always be found in the Welcome Center during your stay and on Campers App, a digital platform to stay connected with our campground.
